What we do
Fuel poverty arises when people
have insufficient income to heat their homes
to the standard required for comfort and health.
· We campaign locally
and nationally on issues relating the fuel
needs of poor consumers
· We keep MPs and policy
makers aware of fuel poverty and the work
of the Campaign
· We research and publish
policy documents to promote discussion on
fuel poverty issues to influence legislative
change and reform of public and private sector
policies
· We publish a quarterly
newsletter, Fuel News, which keeps members
and subscribers up to date with information
about all aspects of energy policy
· We organise conferences
and events for our membership and the general
public to promote a wider awareness of fuel
poverty problems, issues and solutions
